The new badge will be available for 8 Series, 7 Series, and the X7 models.
Many people dream of having the blue-and-white BMW logo adorning the hoods of their new vehicles. To distinguish these models from other BMW brands, a black-and-white version the manufacturer’s roundel will be used to decorate the BMW 8 Series, 8 Series, 8 Series, i8 roadster and 7 Series.
All of the models listed above will be classified as BMW’s “elite model”.
The three-row X7 SUV concept will soon be on display. We also saw the 8 series coupe concept at Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The carmaker claims that the BMW flagship models embody a new understanding luxury. It combines an emotionality defined through inspirational aesthetics and the joy driving with the freedom to be independent and self-determined individuality.
It is also believed that elite models have a particular customer in mind.
In a press release, Hildegard Wortmann (Senior Vice President Brand BMW) stated that “for these people, life consists of making the most out of the time they have.” Their motto is “to own the moment” – i.e. To maximize every moment with meaningful and beautiful objects.”
The elite model owners will enjoy more than just aesthetics. They can have their vehicle picked-up and delivered to their workplace or home at no extra cost.
You can have one of these models in your garage and you will be able to access any other vehicle with the black-and white badge. You can have the larger SUV if you already own a BMW 7 series but want more cargo and passenger space. You can also request a BMW 8 Series for a weekend if you prefer something sportier. BMW i8 owners can also enroll in the “BMW i Pure Impulse Experience”, which offers exclusive sightseeing tours and gala dinners.
The 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show will be the first to unveil the new logo in black-and-white.
