It will be a big talking point because of the position of these headlights.
BMW has been very active in recent days, especially when it comes to refreshing its lineup or what it refers to as the Life Cycle Impulse. Our spy photographers were able to see several Bimmer prototypes being tested, including the BMW M testing convoy which included the X3 M facelift as well as the new M4 Convertible.
The BMW X7 SUV (or SAV, as in sport activity vehicle) will soon be getting a makeover. Prototypes of the new model were captured as early as last year and displayed a controversial styling, aside from its large grille.
Here are some new photos taken by our spy, showing the refreshed BMW X7 at Nurburgring.
The LCI model of the X7 will get a unique design update, as mentioned above. The new model’s headlights are lower than the previous model and appear to be detached from the grille. The X7’s new grille appears to be the same size as the original, so anyone who has accepted this fact will not have to worry.
The rear of the model is unchanged. However, we can expect some minor changes to the fascia shape and taillights for the facelift.
You can expect subtle changes inside, such as a new curved dashboard layout. Although the software update for BMW iDrive infotainment is possible, nothing is certain.
The facelifted X7 will most likely retain the turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-Six and twin-turbo 4.4 liter V8. These engines produce 456 horsepower (340 kilowatts), and 479 poundfeet (649 Newton meters) of torque. Rumours suggest that either power or efficiency updates are in the works.
For the 2022 model year, the updated BMW X7 is likely to be revealed later in this year. Keep checking this space for more updates.
