BMW XM - Minimal Disguise Looks Outlandish

The “Mof the Future” will be in production by the end 2022.

The BMW XM Concept will be a production model by the end of 2022. It is up to you to decide if the design suits your needs, but it will be very similar to the wild concept we saw last year.

That’s at least what we see here – a BMW XM allegedly captured with minimal disguise at an international airport. Photo courtesy of Wilco Blok. The exact location of the airport was not disclosed in the post.

Photographs show the rear, side and front of the “M” of the future. Take a look at the photos.

On the alleged XM, the massive polarizing grille was visible. Although they are still hidden in the spy shot we have confirmed that there are split headlights on the hybrid performance crossover.

The BMW XM’s side shows the sloping roofline that the BMW XM still has despite its boxy design execution. The exposed tailpipes are visible at the rear. These elements are faithful to the XM Concept. This is your decision.

We aren’t sure where the alleged BMW XM is heading. We are close to the launch of this performance model. There are many possibilities. If this is you, we have allowed you to test drive the prototype . It was very promising in terms its driving characteristics.

The BMW XM will debut this year with 644 horsepower (480 kilowatts), and 650 pound feet (881 Newton-meters). The production units should be in dealers by 2022. In 2023, a hotter version will be available with the promised 750 horsepower (559 kW), and 737 lbft (1,001 Nm) of torque.
