The 2020 Geneva Motor Show was cancelled, leaving the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP with no public debut. The Mercedes-Benz G Class-based pickup was unveiled online just a few days before the coronavirus pandemic struck the world. It never received the attention it deserved. A new video shows all the details of the vehicle.

The 9-minute video was created by Supercar Blondie and features a detailed exterior walkaround that reminds us just how big the 800 AdventureXLP. To remind you, the wheelbase was extended by 19.7 inches (50 cm) to fit the cargo bed. The truck is 17.4 feet (5.31m) long, or 27.1 inches (68.1 centimeters), longer than a stock G63.The official press release that was released earlier this year briefly mentioned a Wingcopter drone option. This attaches to the cargo area, which by the way has a large window and an equally large wiper. It’s called the Wingcopter by the company and is an upgrade that will cost you a lot. – $100,000.

You like numbers? Here’s another impressive number – the drone can travel 150 miles an hour (241 km per hour). The drone can actually fly faster than the truck at 130 mph (209 km/h).

More numbers are available. 789 horsepower (588 Kilowatts) and 738 pounds-feet (1,001 Newton-meters), of torque come from a modified version of Mercedes’ twin-turbo V8. This power allows for a sprint of 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.8 seconds.

The last number? The price. The Brabus 800 Advent XLP is priced at 575,630 euro ($626,236 at the current exchange rate). The sky is the limit, and you can easily specify an example for 666 386 euros (725 064) – or more.
