Brabus has released full details and an image gallery of their latest gem, a 600 PS monster based on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Sedan. Brabus has upgraded the C63 S to 600 PS (441kW) at 5,800rpm and 800Nm (591lb-ft at 1,750-4,500 rpm), which is a significant power boost of 90 PS (66.6 kW) and 100 Nm (74lb-ft).
It shouldn’t come as a surprise the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time has decreased by 0.2s to just 3.8 seconds while top speed has jumped to an impressive 186 mph (300 km/h), up from the electronically-restricted 155 mph (250 km/h) of the standard model. The wagon can also get this power upgrade, but it takes an additional 0.1 seconds to sprint due to its slightly heavier weight.
Brabus installed their stainless-steel exhaust system with controlled butterfly valve, which infuses more power. This allows for sound management via a switch inside the cabin. Clear-coated carbon has either a matte finish or a glossy finish and it has been aerodynamically optimized. Mercedes-AMG’s compact sedan is high-performance and comes with 20-inch Monoblock T wheels. These are shod in 255/30 ZR20 front tires and 275/35 ZR20 back tires. Available from Continental, Pirelli, and Yokohama.
Brabus also modified the cabin with aluminum paddle shifters, stainless-steel scuff plates (with logo backlit), revised speedometer reaching up to 340 km/h (211 mph), and black leather upholstery featuring mandarin seams.
Brabus will exhibit the modified Mercedes-AMG C63S by Mercedes-Benz at the Frankfurt Motor Show later in this month.
