This is more like a land yacht than a dinghy.
When there is snow, it can be difficult to think about top down driving. But Brabus makes us yearn for warmer weather. With the announcement of the Fortwo Sunseeker Limited edition. This small, nautical-inspired vehicle was created by the firm and Sunseeker yacht specialists. Only ten are available.
Brabus loaded this special edition using the Smart Fortwo Cabrio for a base. The vehicles are painted with Midnight Sapphire, a deep blue that evokes the deep ocean. Silver Lake Metallic pinstripes are a nod to shallower waters. Carbon accents are placed around the roof’s rear section for a sporty look, while compass graphics are displayed on each B-pillar. Brabus’ 18-inch Y-spoke wheels are covered by larger fender flares. The model has a slightly more aggressive stance due to the lower suspension.
Brabus adds even more yachting inspiration to the Sunseeker’s interior. Teak panels are used to cover the trunk and footwells. The ivory-colored leather upholstery also features an embossed compass on each armrest. The shift knob, pedals and emergency brake lever are covered in aluminum trim. Customers have the option to choose between red or white illumination for their illuminated door sills.
Brabus-tuned, 898cc turbocharged, three-cylinder engine produces power for the Fortwo Sunseeker. It can produce 123 horsepower (92 Kilowatts) as well as 148 pound-feet (220 Newton-meters). The tuner also installed a new exhaust with three chrome-plated pipes at the back.
However, the Fortwo Sunseeker Limited Edition’s exclusive status comes with a high price. The vehicle costs 59,900 euro ($70,670 at current exchange rate). It is slightly less expensive than the Mercedes AMG C43 which starts at 60,184.25 € ($71,005) in Germany. After learning about the price, you may still be interested in one of these Fortwos inspired by boating. They are available at Brabus’ flagship in Dusseldorf, Germany and 46 Sunseeker London Group branches.
