Brabus, thank you.
Brabus is a master at making fast cars go faster. The German tuning house worked its magic on the Mercedes AMG S63 as well as the Maybach S650. The two cars combine to produce 1,600 horsepower (1.193-kilowatts), and more than 1,800 pounds (2,440 Newton meters) of torque.
The S63’s 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine is the power source. However, Brabus has tuned the engine to produce 690 horsepower (515 kW) as well as 700 lbft (950 Nm). This makes it 113 horsepower and 36 lbft more powerful than the standard version. It can sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.0 seconds. It’s also prettier.
Brabus’ signature styling cues are used on the exterior. The new 22-inch wheels come in either a Monoblock Y or Monoblock F cross-spoke design. A revised fascia with exposed carbon fibre elements and the Brabus logo is visible front and center. Some additional features make the S63 even more luxurious.
The Maybach S650 might be the right choice if luxury is your goal. The Maybach S650 is equipped with a 6.3-liter biturbo V12 engine, which was bored from the factory 6.0 liter. It produces 887 horsepower (662 kW) as well as 1,106 lbft (1.500 Nm) torque. The top speed is around 217 mph (355 kmh), while 0-60 mph (100 kmh), can be done in just 3.7 seconds. The luxury sedan has many design features, just like the S63.
To handle all the extra power, a carbon fiber intake module was installed. A new intake manifold was also fitted with an air filter box. Brabus added a Brabus sports exhaust system to provide electronic sound management. The exterior also features bare carbon fiber aerodynamic enhancements. A set of 21-inch forged wheels is standard. An optional Brabus 22-inch set is also available.
Brabus 700 or 900 packages can both be customized to meet customer requirements on top of existing S63 and S650 Maybach models. Or, the vehicles can be bought complete in the shop. These two powerful packages are not yet available for purchase.
