The SV12 R is based on the Mercedes S 600 facelifted model. It features a biturbo 12-cylinder engine producing 750 hp with 1,100 Nm torque.
Brabus announced that it will introduce the crazy SV12 R at Frankfurt Motor Show.
The SV12 R is based on the Mercedes S 600. It features a biturbo twelve cylinder engine with a modified crankshaft, forged pistons and revised camshafts. There has also been an 0.8 liter increase to the displacement (from 5.5 to 6.3 liters). Brabus also included larger turbochargers and a more efficient intercooling.
The engine now produces an incredible 750 hp (740 bhp / 552 kW) (20 bhp more that the previous SV12 S model) and an electronically limited 1,100Nm (811 lbft) of torque. The engine’s performance is as amazing as you’d expect. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 MPH) takes just 4.0 seconds and the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h (122 MPH) takes 11.9 seconds. You’ll eventually reach the electronically limited top speed limit of 340 km/h (211 mph) if you keep your foot down.
Brabus installed a high-performance braking system that includes 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers at the front and six-piston aluminum fix calipers at the rear to keep the SV12 R in control at such speeds. The calipers are able to grab massive 380×36-mm (15.0×1.42inches) vented and crossdrilled discs in the front and 355×28-mm (14.0×1.1 inches) discs at the rear.
The front end has a bold apron and LED daytime driving lights. This apron was designed to minimize lift and increase cooling for the engine and front brakes. A pair of aluminum sport front fenders with integrated entrance lights are located further back. Brabus outfits the SV12 R at the rear with a trunk-mounted spoiler as well as a bold rear apron that also has integrated lighting.
The car is designed to be an office on wheels and features a slim notebook computer, a color printer, internet access, and an ultra-slim laptop computer. The laptop can be docked in its trunk and a 15.2-inch TFT screen, which is mounted on the headliner, acts as a computer monitor. It can also display TVs and DVDs. Two interior USB ports, electric curtains and yachting-inspired maple or Wenge wood trim are just a few of the unique features. Brabus also offers power deployable tables and illuminated scuff plates, as well as a sport steering column.
