Brabus will be bringing its latest tuning program, the 2012 Mercedes Benz ML 63AMG, to Essen Motor Show.

The standard V8 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 produces 518 horsepower (386 kW), and peak torque of 516lb-ft (699Nm). Brabus treatment increases the power unit’s output to 611 horsepower (456 kW) with 604 lbft (820Nm) of torque. This allows for a sprint of 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h), in just 4.5 seconds, and an electronically limited top speed (186 mph) of 300 km/h.

Brabus also offers a power upgrade to the AMG Performance Package. This version delivers 550 HP (410 kW) as well as 560 lbft (758 Nm) in stock configuration. The power output is also increased to 611 horsepower and 604 lb.ft.

The Brabus PowerXtra module was integrated into the engine electronics to give the additional horsepower. For reducing lift on the axles, they also made spoilers out of carbon fiber for both front and back.

The AIRMATIC suspension can be fitted with a custom control module that lowers the SUV’s center of gravity and improves its handling. Five wheel designs come in sizes up to 23 inches and are available with high-performance tires.
