Brabus, a German tuner, has been working on several models that don’t have the three-pointed star. Bottrop-based aftermarket expert Brabus is back to its roots by applying some of its magic to the Mercedes C-Class’s latest sedan and wagon versions. This package includes visual upgrades and a decent power boost.

Brabus specialized in the AMG Line version of the C/Class and created detachable parts that gave the C/Class duo an aggressive look. The spoiler corners were upgraded to have a functional purpose. They are supposed to lower front-axle lift at high speeds, and increase stability. The keyless access system triggers LED strips that act as locator lights on the front air intakes.

The sedan is the best choice. Brabus can install a trunk spoiler to reduce rear-axle lift, and make the saloon appear sportier. Each body style can be fitted with quad tips in black chrome measuring 90 millimeters (3.5 inches) and connected to the OEM exhaust. C-Class owners have the option to swap out their original wheels for a set of custom wheels ranging in size from 18 to twenty inches. Suspension lowering springs can be used to bring the wagon or luxury sedan closer to the road, up to 30 millimeters (1.2 in).

Without some modifications under the hood, it wouldn’t be a complete tuning programme. C300 4Matic’s turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine can be boosted by 42 horsepower to 296, hp, while maximum torque jumps from 295 poundfeet (405 Newton-meters), to 450 Nm (332 Lb-ft). The C-Class can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h), electronically limited to 155 mph (225 km/h), in just 5.8 seconds.

For those who prefer the C300d, Brabus can add 44 hp (50 Nm) and 37 lbft (50 nm) to the oil-burner to bring the total up to 306 HP (228 kW), and 443 Lb-ft (643 Nm). This diesel power is enough to propel you through a 5.6 second sprint with the same maximum speed.

Brabus offers many options to personalize the interior, as usual. C-Class owners have the ability to personalize their car with leather, Alcantara, and aluminum pedals.
