The new model of craftsmanship
Bugatti cars are the perfect combination of luxury and engineering. The current lineup is a great example of internal combustion, but the EB110 was the start of the modern hypercar journey by the French automaker. We’re going to show you a scale model of Bugatti Centodieci made out of wood.
The limited-run hypercar, in addition to its impressive operation as seen in the video shows, pays homage many of the design cues used on the EB110. The classic’s front fascia has the same profile and flatter, wedge-shaped panels as the classic. It also features the smaller horseshoe grille.
The workers at ND – Woodworking put in a lot of effort to make a replica of this special vehicle. Most of the bodywork was actually carved with chisels and a chainsaw. The automobile began to shape after a long and laborious process. Even though the vehicle was built from a wooden model, it is clear that the LED Angel-eye headlights are the main focal point.
The scale model includes functional headlights, taillights, and driven wheels. Although the wood seats are a little difficult, the final result is exceptional in terms of functionality and detail. Each wheel is hand-carved in order to reproduce the exact proportions and profile of the real car.
You might already consider this the ultimate toy car designed for children. The video ends with kids riding in the final product. The actual car will cost EUR8 million (or $9.5 million depending on current exchange rates), but the owners of the wooden example put in 40 hours of hard work.
