It could be the Chiron Super Sport 300+.
According to the new teaser campaign, the Bugatti CHiron has a new version. Information from the company strongly suggests that the forthcoming reveal may be related to the Chiron Super Sport 300+.
The new Chiron variant will be available on June 8th at 10:00 AM CEST (5:00 AM EDT). So there won’t need to wait long.
The teaser image isn’t very clear. It shows a white Chiron lit up by its lights. The turbine in the background suggests that the vehicle is in a wind tunnel to improve aerodynamics. However, this photo doesn’t show any major styling changes.
This could be the production version. Bugatti stated that the version for customers wouldn’t be available until 2021 when the prototype was first presented in 2019. This made it a perfect time to present it now. They planned to make 30. The original one was capable of 304.773 miles an hour (490.484 km per hour) . However, the variant for buyers could only travel 273.4 mph (440 km/h) electronically.
Bugatti Chiron SuperSport 300+ features the 8.0-liter quad turbo W16 engine that produces 1,578 horsepower from the Centodieci. The body has been redesigned to make it more agile in the air. It also features a longtail rear end.
The production-spec Chiron Super Sport 300+ was priced at EUR3.5 million (or $4.3 million now). VW Group’s Ehra-Lessien track is also available for buyers. It has a 5.4-mile (8.7-km long) straight that allows the vehicle to accelerate.
