Bugatti Chiron Replica Made From Scrap Metal Is Automotive Steampunk

This is so cool!

In Thailand’s Chachoengsao Province, there’s an amazing place where scrap metal can flourish. It is located approximately two hours from Bangkok and features incredible robots, statues and life-size reproductions of cars. It is appropriately called Scrap Metal Art Thailand and it is where you will find the most original Bugatti CHiron in the world. You’ll actually find two.

CB Media has provided a video tour of their workshop and display yard. We recommend that you sit down and enjoy the clip. Although recycling metal is something that most people are familiar with, the intricate sculptures created in this workshop are truly amazing. We see everything, from the Hollywood sci-fi remakes of Robocop to the T-800 from The Terminator to all the robot variants from Michael Bay’s Transformers series.

We also see a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing almost entirely made of nuts and bolts. The Ferrari 250 GTO replica has a similar design, but the Chiron stands out. It is made up of old floor pans, frame rails and body parts. We get to see another Bugatti, which adopts a dystopian view of the hypercar. One can appreciate the amazing talent behind these projects by being parked next to the huge Bumblebee sculpture.

Many sculptures are listed on the Scrap Metal Art Thailand webpage. Private collectors and theme parks are listed as customers. Sculptures have been shipped to over 40 countries. A creation such as the Chiron would be around $30,000, which is a huge difference from the seven-figure cost of the real thing. However, it still seems ridiculously affordable for something this amazing.
