Bugatti Chiron Terracross Rendered As Hyper Off-Roader

Imagine the impossible.

It’s not necessary to describe how crazy the idea of a high-riding Bugatti CHiron is. The car is designed to get as close as possible to the road with aerodynamics that push it further down at high speeds. In the virtual world, nothing is safe or untouchable. This new drawing shows the French hypercar becoming a victim to the SUV madness.

Rafal Czaniecki is an industrial designer from Shenzhen. He sent us this amazing Chiron Terracross project. His goal was to challenge reality. He explains that the car combines two different types of car – superfast supercars with high-riding 4x4s. He was honest.

We don’t know where to begin. While the rendering retains the Chiron’s original shape, it alters almost every exterior detail. The suspension is slightly higher than the original Chiron and rides on large, rubber-covered rims. This is all hidden under 3D-printed wheel arches that are transparent and have a hexagon-based skeleton.

This same design motif is also used on the roof cargo system, which has integrated LED lights. It can also be found on the taillights and headlights. The tire tread is made in a similar manner and the exhaust pipes are also hexagonal. A spare wheel is mounted at the rear of the engine cover in the event of a puncture.

Designer explains that he has added “additional details such as digital scanners instead traditional mirrors, so it can scan the terrain to suggest or help move forward in difficult conditions.” The visual tweaks include a huge protection bar covering the entire front fascia.
