This teaser is part of an announcement by Bugatti Rimac about a new Berlin office.
Bugatti Rimac will open a new engineering center in Berlin. But the most exciting news is that the company teased a pair future models. The covers of two models feature the Buggati and Rimac emblems.
It is positioned next to a Nevera which allows you to compare the two vehicles. Although the overall shape is identical, it seems that the new product will have more prominent fender flares as well as a larger rear wing. This machine could be a more popular version of the Nevera, judging by the styling similarities.
Anscheidt stands in front of the Bugatti cover. The horseshoe grille is visible, but it’s not possible to see the rest of this design.
Although we are not able to see the car as closely as Rimac, we do have more information about the future Bugatti. Mate Rimac, the company boss, confirms that the Chiron successor uses a combustion engine while is “heavily electrified”. He also indicated that it features never-before seen features on a production car.
Bugatti plans to show the design of its new model to its wealthy clients by 2022 in order to increase orders. The hypercar will not be available to the public until 2024.
This new Berlin facility will be responsible for designing and engineering the next generation Bugatti and Rimac products. The new Bugatti Rimac GmbH subsidiary in Berlin will be based there. It will have resources for procurement, finance and program management as well as legal and marketing.
Rimac will also be building a new headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia. It is expected to open in 2023. This location will be used to build vehicles and also serve as a research and development hub. The location will include a rooftop garden and a test track. Construction will be completed in time for around 2,500 employees.
Bugatti will continue to manufacture its vehicles at the Molsheim facility, France.
