Bugatti Veyron owner reveals the insanely high maintenance costs

He has two Veyrons, so it’s double.

Manny Khoshbin is the owner of 0.44% all Veyrons ever made. The real estate mogul owns two W16 monsters from a total of 452 Bugattis throughout its long 10-year lifespan. You’ve probably seen his videos. He drives his cars regularly without worrying about whether each mile could affect the value. He has five Mercedes SLR McLarens in his garage. His latest video, however, is about one of these Veyrons.

An expensive car with a seven-figure starting price will always have high upkeep costs. But how much will it cost to keep a Veyron in top shape? Manny states that Bugatti recommends that all fluids be changed every year. This is because replacing all other fluids requires a lot more work.

The car comes with 16 drain plugs, which is twice the number of the Lamborghini Huracan. It is difficult to access the drain plugs because the mechanics must remove the rear wheels and brakes as well as the lining under the car.

Bugatti recommends that all Veyron owners change their tires every two years. A new set of tires costs $38,000. The wheels need to be replaced at a cost of $50,000 every 10,000 miles (16.093 km). In just a few years, the maintenance costs will run to around $100,000.

Manny has two Veyrons, a one-off Chriron Hermes and two Veyrons on the way. The bills are higher than ever but a set of tires for the hypercar will cost “only” $8,000. The Mansory Veyron is also on his mind. This will allow him to have more space in his garage for something even more extravagant. The lineup will soon include a Mercedes-AMG One and McLaren Speedtail as well as a Ford GT, McLaren Speedtail and a Koenigsegg Jesko.

A year ago, the Veyron’s insane maintenance costs were exposed by an EPA Certification application. It showed $6,400 for each turbocharger, and $9,000 in labor costs to replace a pair. The cost of an air cooler is $9,000, and there are two. Labor costs for each one is $2,000. Although the camshaft adjusters are only $800 each, owners will need to pay approximately $21,000 for labor. This is because the process requires engine disassembly.
