Buick has unveiled the new Avenir concept.
The North American International Auto Show will see the debut of the Avenir, a flagship sedan that features a waterfall grille and LED headlights. Further back, you can see ventilated frontfenders, curvaceous bodies and a “boattail” rear end. This concept features muscular rear fenders as well as 21-inch alloy wheels.
High quality materials will surround the driver in the cabin, including silk, premium leather upholstery and bamboo wood trim. Ambient lighting, an ionic filter system and a wireless charger are some of the features that this car offers. It also includes an IntelliLink infotainment platform with a 12-inch screen.
The driver recognition system recognizes drivers and loads music preferences, calendar and recent visited destinations automatically.
The Avenir is a flagship vehicle designed with premium features. It includes individual rear seats separated by a full-length console. A dual-screen entertainment system is available for rear passengers, which promises to make the ride more enjoyable and relaxing.
Buick did not provide any details but stated that the engine is a “next generation” V6. It has direct-injection technology, a stop/start system and cylinder activation technology. It’s connected to a nine speed automatic transmission and a twin clutch all-wheel drive system.
