This is the luxury performance wagon that we have been waiting for.
The Cadillac CT6 has a new 4.2-liter biturbo-V8 underhood. It is now even more powerful. The V-Sport model produces 550 horsepower (410kilowatts) as well as 627 pound-feet (6850 Newton-meters of torque) in the highest output. There is also a 500-hp (372-kW), option. Only one thing is missing from the performance package: an extra body style.
Kleber Silva, a rendering artist, has created a CT6 with 550 horsepower and a stylish station wagon. The more spacious rear looks great on the already elegant vehicle, thanks to its attractive red paint job. The sedan’s design elements are almost identical, with the sharp, angular headlights and matching taillights. There are also the new, sporty wheels and dual exhaust tips.
It also retains remnants from the old CTS-V wagon. It produced a staggering 556 horsepower (414 kW) when it was last seen in Cadillac’s performance lineup. Cadillac could make the CT6 V-Sport a wagon-style version of the CTS-V, but it would lose power slightly.
It doesn’t appear that this will be happening anytime soon. Cadillac’s CEO has already quashed rumors about a lifted wagon that could compete with the Volvo V90 or the Audi A4 Allroad. So don’t expect a sporty wagon like the CTS-V anytime soon. De Nysschen confirmed that there will be more V-Sport models similar to the CT6.
The CT6 V-Sport gets more power thanks to a 10-speed manual gearbox, a limited-slip back differential and new Brembo brakes. The V-Sport package includes gloss black trim around the windows and 20-inch wheels with summer-only tire.
