Cadillac CTS-V Coupe from Hennessey targets 230 mph

The V1000 is a twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 1,000 horsepower (746 kW/ 1,014 PS) as well as 950 lbft (1.286 Nm).

Hennessey unveiled a new performance package to the Cadillac CTSV Coupe.

The V1000 is a carbon fiber body kit that features a ventilated roof, front splitter, rear diffuser, and aggressive side skirts. The car also features a lower sport suspension, Brembo carbon ceramic braking systems and a custom interior with premium leather upholstery.

The engine’s twin-turbo 427LS V8 produces power. It has been equipped with high-flow piston heads, a new crankshaft and upgraded fuel injectors. These tweaks result in 1,000 horsepower (746 kW/ 1,014 PS) as well as 950 lbft (1,286Nm) of torque. The car will be able to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 3.5 seconds, run the quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds, and reach a maximum speed of 230 MPH (370 km/h).

The production will be limited to 12 units. However, there is no information on the pricing.
