They cost approximately $6 million each.

Bitcoin is the future money, according to the Internet. Its biggest success was in 2017, when it reached $19,000 in December. Experts predict that Bitcoin could reach $50,000 or $60,000 by the end of 2018. Many early Bitcoin users are now looking to cash in, especially on some six- and seven-figure supercars.

One smart Bitcoin investor quickly took his earnings to Pagani Newport Beach, California where he purchased a pair multi-million-dollar hypercars. The DuPont Registry reports that the dealer sold two new Bugatti Chromer and one Pagani Huayra Americano, both for $6 million. This was all done in Bitcoin. The $6 million price tag for each vehicle is just over 450 BTC at today’s rates.

The Bugatti’s 1,479-horsepower (1.102-kilowatt), was finished in jet black with an accenting grey leather interior and a grey exterior. Pagani’s 720-hp (536 kW) engine was finished in silver with red accenting strips and exposed carbon fiber bodywork. Each car is extremely rare and cost $3 million new. This makes them ridiculously expensive with or without Bitcoin.

This is not the first time that a seller has accepted cryptocurrency to purchase a rare hypercar or supercar. In December someone from Atlanta tried to sell a brand-new McLaren 720S to someone for 25 BTC. This would have equated to around $333,000 today at the current exchange rate. Although it is not clear if he was able find a buyer for Bitcoin, it seems that more supercar sellers accept the currency.
