Callaway also offers brake and chassis upgrades for full-size SUVs.
Hennessey has the right engine for you if you want to get some serious horsepower into your full-size GM-branded SUV. Callaway has a long track record of making GM machines run fast, including the Corvette. Callaway’s powerful 560-hp (418-kilowatts) upgrade for the Chevrolet Tahoe was discussed recently. However, those who want more luxury can get the same upgrade for the GMC Yukon.
This level of power is only possible with the 6.2-liter V8. The 5.3-liter option is also available. The core of the package, as with the Tahoe’s Tahoe, is Callaway’s superchager system. It consists of a GenThree supercharger and what Callaway calls a TripleCooled Intercooler.
The Yukon receives a new intake system and low-restriction exhaust to maximize the power. These modifications result in 560 horsepower for the 6.2-liter V8. Callaway also offers Yukons with the optional 5.3-liter V8 upgrade, but it produces only 358 kilowatts and 480 horsepower.
There are many aesthetic changes that come with more power. Buyers can choose from the SC480 or SC560. They get Callaway branding, including embroidered floor mats and badges for interior and exterior, Callaway keyfobs, Callaway keyfobs, Callaway plaques with vehicle identification numbers, documentation, and Callaway keyfobs. Callaway’s performance modification come with a full factory warranty. This warranty covers new vehicles for 3 years (36,000 miles) and optionally a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
Callaway offers a variety of options for the Yukon, which adds more power than it takes. You can upgrade your suspension and chassis with a Rough Terrain and Handling package. Bigger brakes are also available. Callaway wheels are available in two sizes: 20-inch and 22-inch. Interior upgrades include a sport steering wheel, pedals, or a complete sport interior.
Callaway’s website does not provide pricing information. However, our previous report on Callaway Tahoe stated a package price at $17,995.
