Supercharged V8 engines of 6.2-liter capacity produce 599 horsepower (447 kW/ 607 PS).
Pontiac has died but that hasn’t stopped Classic Design Concepts selling a modern-day Firebird.
The Firebreather is a car that was based on the Chevrolet Camaro. It features a unique front fascia and new headlights with LED halos. Side sill extensions and a modified bumper with integrated diffuser. New taillights and a spoiler are also included, along with 20-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli P-Zero rubber tires. The cabin has leather upholstery, piano-black trim, red ambient lighting and special floor mats. It also features an individual numbered plaque. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine is paired with a cold air induction system and a 3-inch dual cat-back exhaust. The engine produces 599 horsepower (447 kW/ 607 PS) rather than the standard 426 HP (318 kW/ 432 PS). Production of firebreather will be limited to 50 units, and prices start at $60,000.
