Hasta la vista, boring camper vans.
Rare are wildly designed camper vans. For a touch of flair, owners and companies often choose plain colors or more subtle abstract designs. However, a pair camper vans is a rare breed. The vans, which can be purchased in Colorado at KuKu Campers have bold murals on their driver’s sides. One is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The Terminator and the other is Chuck Norris, a jean-wearing character from 1985’s The Invasion U.S.A..
Both are Ram ProMaster City Vans of the 2016 and 2017 model years have similar interior features. The murals are not to be ignored. The Schwarzenegger mural recreates the poster from Terminator that featured the Terminator holding an AMT Hardballer. 45 Longslide before an array of red lasers. Invasion U.S.A.’s Norris tribute places the actor in front a blast – a necessary part of any Norris mural – though it replaces two Uzis he should have with kittens. Unfortunately, Norris’ mural is not included in the sale. It will be removed from your van.
Although there aren’t many action stars inside, there is plenty of space to spread out. They can sleep two people and come with a two-gallon water tank, 400-watt power inverter as well as LED interior lights, storage boxes for extra light, UBS outlets, an electrical fan, and a UBS outlet. The beds are 78 inches in length by 48 inches wide. The same 2.4-liter four cylinder engine powers the vans, sending 178 horsepower (130 megawatts) to each of the front wheels.
Both are affordable, mural or no. The Terminator one is available for $16,900. The Norris version is less expensive, probably because it doesn’t include the Norris stickers. The price is $16,500. The camper vans are not packed with all the amenities or features you would expect, but the basic design and simple layout make them affordable for curious campers.
