Let me answer your curiosity.
Two nameplates are the best for hard-core off-roading. They are the Ford Bronco, and the Jeep Wrangler. Although everyone has their opinion on which off-roader is better, we think it’s impossible to pick a straight-line winner.
Yet, we have a video from ACCELER8. Although a drag racing matchup of off-roaders on a prepared surface may seem pointless, it is a great way to have fun and to entertain those who are curious.
The Bronco and Wrangler models have four doors and nearly the same color. The standard Pentastar V6 gasoline engine of 3.6-liters is used to power the Wrangler. It produces 285 horsepower (313 kilowatts), and 260 pound feet (353 Newton-meters).
The turbocharged EcoBoost engine of the Bronco is what powers it. The engine produces 275 horsepower (205 kW) and is a little less powerful than the Wrangler . It has 315 lb-ft (427 nm) more torque.
However, the Bronco is heavier than the Wrangler. Since we don’t know the exact equipment of both vehicles, we don’t have exact numbers.
The Bronco was the fastest of the two races to cross the quarter-mile mark, just after the Wrangler. Some fans were offended by this, calling it unfair because the Bronco is an I4 and the Wrangler a V6. This raises the question: Was the race really a mismatch? We’d love to hear your opinions in the comments below.
