Acura’s iconic small car brand, the Integra, is back after a 20 year absence in America. This fifth-generation Acura Integra sports sedan is a five door liftback with a sporty interior and suspension. It was based on the 11th-generation Honda Civic.
Can the New Acura Integra beat The Civic Si in a Drag Race? The turbocharged 1.5-liter Inline-4 engine found in the Honda Civic Si powers the base Acura Integra. The boosted inline-4 generates 200 horsepower (149 Kilowatts), and 192 lbft (260 Newton meters) of torque. The base model of the Integra uses a CVT-automatic transmission to send power to the front wheels. For a more dynamic driving experience, the Integra Sport trim includes a 6-speed automatic transmission with a limited slip differential.

Acura Integra’s adjustable suspension system allows drivers to choose between comfort, sport, normal, or individual modes. The Acura Integra, even with all its luxury features, weighs in at a modest 3,073lbs with the 6-speed manual transmission. Although it may not boast headline-grabbing horsepower, this sports sedan is light and compact. It is still a great commuter vehicle, with impressive mpg figures of 26 city and 36 highway.

While the Civic Si doesn’t have as many luxury amenities as the Acura Integra it is listed for $27,500. An Acura Integra will cost you $35,800 for a 6-speed manual transmission. Which would you prefer for your daily driver: the less expensive Civic Si or the luxurious Acura Integra?
