Caterham Seven gets its own luxury super yacht

Caterham has partnered with Sunseeker International, a yatch manufacturer, to provide a solution for Caterham owners who want yatchs that can be used to transport their valuable road steeds.

The collaboration between Caterham Cars International and Sunseeker International will last for only about one week. Sunseeker makes luxury yachts, while Caterham is known for its off the-wall sports cars.

Their union is covered by a garage in the stern Sunseeker’s Predator 108 special edition that can store and launch Caterham sport cars. The boat’s owners would be able to drive directly off the boat into glamorous harbours like Monaco, Cannes, and Cape Town.

From today through 17 January 2010, the Predator can be seen at the 2010 London International Boat Show (LIBS). It is capable of 34 knots, and can accommodate up to eight people. It costs around PS7.1 million (US$11.3million) per piece, which is more than the Caterham Seven’s initial price of PS12,000. (US$20,000.00).
