Let’s race.

The Dodge Challenger has been a variety of vehicles over the years. The two-door Dodge Challenger arrived in 2008 hot on the heels the retro-restyled Mustang. It offered plenty of performance for its size. Dodge have worked hard to improve the handling and chassis while adding massive horsepower. The Challenger SRT Hellcat, a muscle car that produces 707 horsepower (527 kilowatts), was the crowning glory of the Challenger’s horsepower madness. Abimelec Design has created a new rendering of a Hellcat track car, complete with all the necessary track-day accessories.

Track-day Challenger render shows the iconic design virtually unchanged since 2008. It features a huge black rear wing that dwarfs the factory spoiler. This wing connects to the trunk’s top and rear bumper. The Challenger’s fat tires and low suspension gives it a wide, long, and narrow stance that is ideal for racing on the track.

The Challenger rendering at the front shows a black-painted front clip that contrasts well with the gray of the rest. For the extra cooling that race cars require, the headlights and most of the grille are missing. The hood has a vented hood and a lower, adjustable front lip spoiler.

The track-day challenger is a rendering of an imagination. The future of the Dodge Challenger is uncertain. Rumours claim that Dodge will replace the Challenger in 2023. However, the automaker denies the speculation. A Dodge Challenger track-day with Hellcat power might be the ideal send-off if the Challenger replacement is not yet in sight. Dodge, it’s just an idea.
