Spoiler alert! The F-150 wins.
The F-150’s most powerful and powerful model, the 3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 offers 430 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 570 lb-ft (773 Newton-meters), of torque at 3,000 RPM. The Raptor, which produces 450 horsepower at 5,000 RPM and 510 lbft (692Nm) at 3,500 RPM, is in the opposite corner. The ten-speed automatic transmission transmits power to both wheels.
These two trucks are separated by only $2,000, with the electrified F-150 being a top-of-the-line Limited 4×4 equipped with all the bells & whistles. The electrified F-150 is more expensive than the other F-150s, with a sticker price of $79,000. This was determined by The Fast Lane Truck. The Hybrid has 20 horsepower less, but it offers 60 lb-ft (81Nm) more power and is available earlier in the rev range.
TFLT ran a few 0-60 runs with the trucks before putting them against one another. The new Hybrid ran its fastest run on 22-inch wheels and street tires. This is not bad for a large vehicle. The Raptor, equipped with off-road tires, took 6.25 seconds to complete this task.
While we won’t be able to influence the outcome of the drag races, which start at 9:59, but we will remind you that Raptor has its day. The truck will be getting a new, more powerful version. It might also produce a V8 variant to compete with the Ram TRX. The truck will reportedly use the same supercharged, 5.2-liter engine found in the Shelby GT500 Mustang. However, it might be tuned to around 725-750 horsepower. The F150 Tremor is now revealed as a Raptor Light with off-road upgrades and no extra power.
