Top Gear is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable automotive television programs in existence. It’s not a controversial topic, despite the departure of Clarkson, Hammond and May. But, we aren’t going to lie. A trailer for series 30 was released recently and gives us a glimpse of what’s coming.
It’s evident that the BBC has a solid team after a succession of presenters left following the departure of the three automotive wise men. The boys are well positioned to succeed with Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris at the helm. What’s next in this latest production?
There are plenty of bizarre challenges that will put hosts on their heels. This is evident from the beginning. While many purists will continue to scream until the cows come home from work, the forced nature of the first reboot episodes (season 23 and beyond) is gone. These guys know how to have a good time, from the Triathlon Challenge at the beginning to James Bond’s vehicle at the ending.
You don’t have to worry about it though. There are many track and road tests that will balance the insane challenges. Chris Harris is most likely the driver. For petrolheads, you can look forward for expert reviews of heavy-hitters such as the Lamborghini Sian and Ferrari Roma.
Many Top Gear fans decided not to watch Top Gear after May’s departure. We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the similar event that Clarkson experienced when he began his stint on the British motoring program. Briton transformed a television series that was originally intended to provide consumer advice for motorists into a global motoring hub.
