It loathes the rear tires the most.

It’s Friday. This means that we will post this article on Friday. However, you might not be able to read it until the weekend. If this is the case, you should know that sometimes the Moto1.com team gets a bit antsy so that we can have a good smoke. We don’t mean cigarettes, vape pens or even nice cigars. We all know tire smoking is what we are passionate about, and there aren’t many YouTube channels that do it better then Hoonigan.

This clip is from Hoonigan Daily Transmission We’ve seen a lot of high-horsepower creations over the past months in this area. Okay, this one is a little different. a lot Different – it has a shorter wheelbase Jeep Wrangler A big suspension lift was used to transport the rider and 40-inch off-road tires were used. You would expect it to be crawling across rocks in the mountains. But instead, it is atomizing rubber at Hoonigan’s California playground. Tires tend to go up in smoke when there’s a supercharged LS engine with close to 1,000 horsepower.

Adam Maloney, Denton Racing’s mad scientist behind the build, is responsible for this Wrangler. This Wrangler does not have 1,000 ponies. The 7.0-liter LSX only generates 930 horsepower thanks to a number of upgrades and a huge Whipple supercharger force feeding the mill. The 4L80 four-speed manual automatic transmission with a manual valve body delivers power. This allows you to shift gears as you please. It is controlled by the driver via a custom shifter that has been mounted in the Wrangler’s mostly stock interior. It works flawlessly thanks to an electric fan-powered transmission cooler that keeps it from overheating. The trans still registered 160 degrees despite countless donuts and burnouts.

This all-encompassing design includes the engine and transmission. For off-road fun, the undercarriage has been upgraded in almost every way. This includes the huge tires that give the narrow Jeep an impressive stance of 74 inches. Although it doesn’t seem like much, when you lift a Wrangler and then add insane horsepower to it, the extra stability is very helpful. Maloney isn’t afraid to throw the Jeep around for some serious donuts, as the video clearly shows. He shows no fear, at least.

It took four years to build and went through many stages each year to get to the point you see today. He isn’t afraid to exercise his monster off-road.
