Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Announced for 2011

Fritz Henderson, GM CEO, strongly suggested that the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible be released as a 2012 model in early 2011.

Fritz Henderson, General Motors’ CEO, shared some fascinating details about the future product line-up.

Henderson strongly suggested that the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible would release in 2011 as a 2012 model during a one-hour Q&A. He said that he did not think a four door Camaro was possible. We will continue to search for performance opportunities in our lineup, even in sedans.

Henderson confirmed that there will be a performance Buick “…( (ala OPC alternative), but not for (a). We can expect a rebadged Opel/Vauxhall Insignia OPC that will be turbocharged twin-scroll turbocharged, 2.8-liter V6 generating 325 horsepower. Henderson stated that a “mini” Buick Enclave would soon be available, but declined to provide further details.
