The Colorado concept is bold and fashionable. It previews the production model which will be released later in the year.
Chevrolet has revealed the first details of the Colorado concept ahead of its debut at Bangkok International Motor Show.
The concept, which is an extended-cab pickup with a mid-size pickup, was designed to show off the production model, which will be launched later in the year in Thailand. It features a prominent grille and polished aluminum accents. A body-color tonneau cover is included, as well as 20-inch alloy wheels with Cooper Zeon offroad tires.
The concept is unlike the current Colorado and features a premium interior featuring a motorcycle-inspired instrument cluster as well as leather seats, dark wood trim and chrome accents. The infotainment system features a touchscreen display and a 7-inch touchscreen display.
A 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine provides the power and motivation. It has a wide torque band that allows for great cargo and towing capabilities. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission, which transmits power to an all wheel drive system.
