It will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson for charity in January.

The 2019 SEMA Show is just around the corner, and Chevrolet will be celebrating the occasion with a very special Camaro. Bow Tie enthusiasts know all about the COPO Camaros. These limited-production machines were made specifically for drag racing competition. As is the case every year, 69 of these machines will be produced in 2020. Technically, there will be 70 of these machines in 2020. However, none are as terrifying as this black beast. It’s a unique build that will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January.

It is also unique because it bears John Force’s name, a true legend in drag racing. The car also features a black/silver color scheme and a red-trimmed interior. The exterior finish, without the name, is available on the 69 production COPOs. It also comes in Summit White, Satin Steel Gray, Red, and Red. The options list will include seven additional heritage colors. There are two engine options: a supercharged LSX-based 5.7 liter V8 or a naturally-aspirated 7.0 liter V8.
