LupiniPower, a South African tuner, has increased the output of this Chevrolet SuperUte SS pickup by 535 bhp (399 kW), and 590 lb-ft (799 Nm), on the 6.0 liter V8 engine.
A tuning job is done for the Chevrolet SuperUte SS South African edition. This would make a 1974 Chevy El camino look envy-worthy.
The Chevrolet Ute was previously sold in North America as the Pontiac G8. It is still available in Australia under the Holden Ute SS.
LupiniPower, a South African tuner, has boosted the Chevrolet SuperUte SS pickup’s output to 535 bhp (399 kW), and 590 lbft (799 Nm) using a supercharged 6.0 liter V8 engine similar to that found in the Corvette ZR1. It takes only 4.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h and the top speed is 175 miles per hour (282 km/h).
LupiniPower offers a suspension “tweak” for improved handling and race-spec front disc brakes.
The SuperUte is a 20-inch wheeled vehicle with 8.5 x20-inch rims in the front and 10×20-inch in the back. It’s wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE050 ultra high performance tires.
The tuner’s all-inclusive price for the Chevrolet SportUte SS is $91,500/EUR63,000/PS58,000.
Optional: A full Bilstein suspension or a limited-slip differential are available for true track enthusiasts.
