This is great news for those who don’t like the C8 mid-engine C8.
The CorvetteC8 is out and about already. We bet those who waited for unit deliveries are excited to get their first mid-engined ‘Vette. The Corvette C8 won Motortrend‘s Car of the year award before the production units reached their owners. This beats the Supra, 911, and other contenders.
Chevrolet wants you to think about buying the Corvette C7, its predecessor. The GM Authority has posted a Golden Bow Tie offering a $9,404 cash discount on a front engine Corvette.
There is a catch to getting the best discount. You must be either a Corvette owner or a Corvette lessee. The buyer will be entitled to a $3,000 loyalty discount if the first condition is met. A $6,404 price drop below MSRP is also available, although this may vary depending on the model.
It is important to remember that Corvette ownership does not apply to models older than MY 2005. This was required by previous offers. This is also the largest discount Chevrolet offers on the C7.
The GM Authority noticed that the incentive mentioned above was not listed under Z06, Z06 or ZR1 models. They reached out to Chevrolet dealers for confirmation that the three models were still included in the deal.
The Corvette C7 is still available on dealer lots. Do you think Chevrolet will be in a position to sell all the front-engined ‘Vettes by the end of this year? Please comment below to let us know your thoughts.
