There will be sales in the second half 2021.

Chevrolet Corvette enthusiasts in Europe have been waiting for the arrival of the C8 since a while. Motor1.com has finally released information about the end of the wait. These ‘Vette-loving fans need patience.

In Europe, the C8 Corvette will arrive during the second half 2021. For EUR99,000 ($110,000 with current exchange rates), the coupe will be available and the convertible for EUR106,000 ($119,000). Pricing for each model’s regular version is not yet available.

The Launch Edtion Corvette will be available in Europe in the 3LT trim level. It will also come standard with the Magnetic Ride Control suspension. The US price for a similar-equipped C8 coupe would be approximately $77,745 plus a $1,095 delivery fee.

The standard Corvette in Europe is likely to be more expensive than its starting price in the United States below $60,000, but the model that is available for international markets comes with more. The base Euro version is comparable to the mid-range 2LT in America. Additionally, the Z51 Performance Package comes standard equipment across the pond. A comparable ‘Vette in the US would cost $71,200 plus $1,095 delivery for a coupe and $78,200 for a convertible.

Europeans have the same powertrain as Americans in their Corvette. The 6.2-liter V8 engine with Z51 performance exhaust produces 495 horsepower (369 Kilowatts) as well as 470 pound-feet (637 Newton meters) of torque. The engine runs through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Z51 equipment gives the Euro Vette an electronic limited slip differential, revised axle ratio and upgraded cooling system.
