Oddly, flat-sided Legos match pretty well with flat-sided pickups.

There’s a new Chevrolet Silverado for 2019. In just a few days, a new Lego movie will be in theaters. The movie is called The Lego Movie 2 Part. We don’t really know much about its plot. However, Chevrolet will not be selling the admittedly awesome brick Silverado that we can see in the video. Chevrolet dedicated a section to the advertisement on its web site. This truck would make an awesome kit, but it’s too bad.

The Chevrolet commercial is not the only one that Chevrolet has with Lego. The movie will feature an animated Lego Silverado, although it is not known if it will look the same as the one we see here. Chevrolet unveiled the full-size Silverado Trail Boss a few weeks ago, which is not directly related to the movie but is most definitely connected to Lego. This Lego model faithfully reproduces the Trail Boss in life-size, down to the tread on the tires and Z71 badges on the grille. It took over 2,000 hours to construct and is made up of more than 300,000 Lego bricks. Chevrolet isn’t playing around with Lego.

“Chevrolet is thrilled to once more be working with Warner Bros. in integrating the brand and one our most iconic products, Silverado, into ‘The LEGO Movie 2’,” said Sandor Piszar (director of Chevrolet Truck marketing). The movie’s themes of teamwork and determination align perfectly with Chevy brand values. We are confident that the all-new Silverado will have the features, technologies and strength to help Emmet, Lucy, and their friends take on new challenges. We aren’t sure why Chevrolet doesn’t offer a Lego Silverado to purchase, considering the movie and the full-size model. There have been many impressive car kits made by a variety of manufacturers over the years. But a Lego pickup with a unique design could be a standout. Are you listening, Chevrolet?
