The 2020 ‘Vette Internal Designations state that the current generation will continue to be sold alongside the new one. The latest vehicle will be the focus of consumer attention and headlines. Fans of the classic, front-engine Corvette will have a chance to show their affection for America’s sports car by attending this special edition’s unveiling.
In 2017, Chevy introduced two special edition Vettes. The Carbon 65 Edition was available for the Grand Sport. It also included bare carbon fiber pieces to the rear spoiler and side sills. They were available with gloss black wheels and Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior paint. They were limited to 650 worldwide by the Bowtie.
The company restricted Grand Sport Admiral Blue Heritage Edition production to five pieces, and made them only available in Japan. The models were painted dark blue and had a white stripe at the wheels and hood. The front fenders were accented with red strips. Red accents were also placed around the rims of black wheels.
