Volkswagen announced in Chicago that two limited editions, the sixth-gen Golf GTI, will be available in the United States. The seventh-gen Golf has been on sale in Europe. However, VW USA will be launching its final special editions for the Golf VI GTI. These new models will be available in limited quantities in four-door configurations in Wolfsburg Edition or Driver’s Edition. They are also available in three colors: Deep Black Carbon Steel Gray, Candy White and Candy White. GTI Wolfsburg Edition will be limited to 2,000 units. The 6-speed manual version costs 25,095 USD, while the 6-speed DSG dual clutch version costs 26,195 USD. It comes on 18-inch Laguna wheels, and has red-stitched floor mats and a retro-themed golf ball shifter knob.
GTI Driver’s Edition will become available in 3,000 units starting Q2 at a price of 29,695 USD for the manual and 30,795 USD for the automatic. You can get the Sunroof and Navigation packages, as well the same alloy wheels and shifter knobs as floor mats and floor mats. There are also partial leather seat covers. The package includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a hat, a parking sign, and a keychain.
