Chrysler 300 to Stay Put for 2022 with Fewer Customization Options
The old-timers sedan will not die.

The Chrysler’s 300 sedan won’t likely die after 2021, as the automaker is expected to keep it going for at least another year. A new report by MoparInsiders states that the 2022 Chrysler 300 will have fewer customization options. This is similar to what was available when the 2021 model was introduced.

First things first. The Chrysler 300 model 2021 is still available. Chrysler is calling its dealers to place orders for 2021 model-year examples before production closes in December. MoparInsiders has reported that the 2022 model will have limited customization options.

You have very few options if you wish to have your 300 sedan in Canyon Sunset or Amethyst colors. Chrysler removed the Ocean Blue Metallic color last year and we don’t anticipate it returning for 2022.

The Radar Red interior combination (a $95 additional) and the Black Smoke combination (a non-cost option) are two other options that will disappear with the new model. The Driver Convenience Group package, which includes 18-inch wheels, LED fog lights, remote start system and universal garage door opener, is also available.

If you wish to purchase a 2021 Chrysler 300, you still have time until September 31st to order it. These cars will be available for purchase by December. Chrysler dealers will begin accepting orders starting in October for the model year 2022. Production is planned to start before the year ends. The cars should start arriving at dealers by the beginning of next year.
