Chrysler Airflow Cabrio Rendering Is A Cool Convertible Crossover

It will make you forget everything about the Murano CrossCabriolet.

Automakers are moving further into SUVs and crossovers. This means that there will be fewer convertibles available on dealer lots. Although there have been attempts to offer roofless SUVs other than the Jeep Wrangler over the years, they have not been successful. Good. That’s certainly the word.

We don’t know if a new Chrysler Airflow convertible is good. We don’t know what the standard Airflow is like. Only was the first to be revealed as a concept. Production models won’t arrive until 2025. However, the Airflow’s overall shape is pleasing. The Airflow’s low crossover profile is not as upright and chunky as the Nissan Murano. We all know how successful the convertible crossover experiment was.

A Chrysler Airflow convertible? X-Tomi Design, a Facebook page, already has an unofficial rendering of how such a vehicle might appear. It’s amazing. This render converts the Airflow from a single-door vehicle to a two-door. Although the rake angle of windshield appears the same, the A-pillar seems a little shorter. It looks almost identical from the wheelbase. Although the sides look a little taller than a standard convertible, they don’t feel nearly as awkward as the two-door Murano CrossCabriolet.

Despite all that, the Airflow will not be available in a convertible version from Chrysler. The Airflow is a five-passenger, electric crossover that Chrysler will make fully electric by 2028. The Airflow is a convertible that designers might like, but it is still an option.
