The car is now known as the PT Cruiser Widebody. It was a retro-inspired hatchback that has been transformed into a two-door pickup truck. The rear passenger compartment was taken out and replaced with a custom truck bed with matching tonneau covers. A wide body kit was added to the model, including new bumpers and extended fenders as well as special side skirts.

Carbon Motors, a Bulgarian company, was also given the task of creating an interior to match the car’s unique style. After a few sketches, the client approved a two-tone interior that featured premium leather upholstery on the dashboard, seats, and doors. The car also had a custom-made center console and leather-wrapped pillars.

Although performance specs are not known, the PT Cruiser was available with a few engines throughout its history. The 2.4-liter four cylinder engine produced 150 bhp (112kW) and 165lb-ft (220Nm) of torque towards the end of its life. A turbocharged version of the 2.4-liter four cylinder engine produced 230 bhp (171kW) and 245lb-ft (332Nm) of torque.
