Hyundai is back at San Diego Comic-Con, bringing the Veloster Zombie Survival Machine.
This is a sequel to the Elantra Coupe Zombie Survival Machine that was presented last year at the same location. There are many modifications that can be made to the car to survive the zombie apocalypse, such as the double-barrel shotgun and sand bags. Front bumper now has two quick-change chainsaws, a horde plough, and front-grille mounted sawblades. Door-attached flame throwers have also been added.
The car’s back features knife blades, a samurai spear, and a baseball bat with spikes. It also has an armored rear bumper. The interior of the cabin has been given metal walls, LineX-style sprayed floors, reinforcements for roof hatches and roof-mounted.50 caliber machines guns.
Galpin Auto Sports, in collaboration with Hyundai and Future US, created the Hyundai Veloster Zombie Survival Device.
Kia, a sister company, will also be present a Justice League-themed Sorento as part of the “We Can Be Heroes” campaign.
