Three sleeping options are available for buyers in the rear.
Itineo, a French motorhome manufacturer, is launching the Nomad. Although it is relatively affordable compared to other models, the Nomad packs a lot of amenities in its small footprint.
The Nomad starts with a Peugeot Boxer van. Itineo has given the motorhome an attractive appearance by changing the styling of the front and rear. It has a new appearance with stacked headlights at the nose and large, hockey stick-shaped lamps at its back.
Motorhome measures 21.69 feet (6.61 m) in length and 7.185 feet (2.19 m) in width. The motorhome can sleep four people. Buyers have the option of choosing from three configurations back: a mattress roughly full-sized, 2 single beds or 3 bunk beds. A second sleeping area folds out from the roof above the cab.
Although the kitchen is small, it has all the necessary features. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a 3-burner stove. You can also use the oven to bake a small cake while camping.
The Nomad has a bathroom with a sink, cassette toilet, and shower.
Each side of the exterior has doors that open to reveal a storage area. There is a button that lifts the bed from above, making it possible to transport bicycles there.
The Nomad’s standard powertrain is a 2.2-liter turbodiesel that produces 140 horsepower (104 kilowatts). An optional tune can be purchased that produces 165 horsepower (123 kW). This video shows that the driver reports that the less powerful version of the tune is sufficient to get around.
The Nomad’s price starts at PS63,600 (or 80,057 at the current exchange rate). This model is available with options at a cost of PS67,994 (85,625). In this video, the reviewer points out that motorhomes are available at a higher price and don’t offer the same standard features as the Itineo offering.
Itineo has not indicated that it will expand its US offerings. These videos give a glimpse at the way European campers travel.
