Volkswagen will be heading to Beijing with a new concept to show off their Beetle Convertible, which will launch in the first quarter of next year. spy photos last year gave us a closer look.

We expect the Convertible to have the same engine options that its coupe sibling when it reaches full production. There will be a 2.5-liter until, as well as a TFSI 2.0-liter and a TDI 2.0 diesel engines. You can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a dual clutch system.
We expect to see the official unveiling in Paris or Los Angeles of the production model following the presentation of the concept.
