Confirmed: The 2020 Audi A6 Allroad Returns To The U.S.

American models come with a mild hybrid 3.0-liter turbo V6 engine with 335 horsepower.

Audi has even better news for American wagon lovers. The company will bring the Allroad back home for the 2020 model-year. The all-wheel drive model, which is the rugged version of the long-roof variant, comes with an air suspension that can raise the body to overcome off-road obstacles.

The A6 Allroad has an adaptive air suspension, which adjusts the vehicle’s height according to driving mode and speed. Ground clearance can reach as high as 7.3 inches (18.5 cm). You also get tilt angle assist and hill descent control.

The A6 Allroad is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged, turbocharged V6 engine with mild-hybrid assist. It produces a total 335 horsepower (250 Kilowatts) as well as 369 pound-feet (369 Newton-meters) of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is the only available gearbox.

The A6 Allroad is distinguished by a chrome-slat grille, which you can wear to identify it visually. This is different from other A6 variants. It is equipped with 20-inch wheels. Standard equipment includes Scandium gray matte paint on the wheel arches, and rocker panels. These elements can be ordered in a body color. An aluminum trim is applied to the front splitter blades, underbody protection, roof rails and rear diffuser.

The Allroad inside looks just like any other HTML6. Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof with dual panes, ambient LED interior lighting, and Bang & Olufsen stereo.

Customers can also choose the Anniversary Edition of A6 Allroad in Gavial Green, an exclusive exterior color. This hue is a tribute to the Highland Green color available on the 2000 Allroad A6 Allroad. This special variant comes with Sarder Brown leather on the interior and Fine Grain Ash Natural Noble Wood trim.

Audi has not yet provided any information about the A6 Allroad’s cost. The model is priced at EUR61,500 in Europe.
