It was made for Red Bull’s 2019 Vanlife Experience contest.
The van’s living space is the core of its appeal. A full kitchen is available with a 2-burner induction stove, as well as a small sink which can be covered with a cuttingboard for additional counter space. The back holds 20 gallons worth of fresh water, while 20 gallons are stored under the sink. A wall of drawers and storage cabinets behind the kitchen can double as a workspace. Hidden inside the kitchen is a flat-screen TV that can be used as a screen for a laptop or PC.
The storage is opposite a small sofa with a swiveltable and the sofa can be extended to make a small bed. Repurposed bus seats are located just in front. They can be folded down to make a table, or they can simply be removed completely. The motorized roof opens up to reveal a queen-size bed that can be used as the master bedroom. The sleeping area has LED lights and is controlled by a touch-control system. It features a four-season canvas set up with screen windows that zip out. The Sprinter is warm and cozy no matter what the top is.
This setup does not have a bathroom. However, a simple cassette toilet could be installed to remedy the situation. This machine is large and capable enough to be used off-road. It has a complete kitchen and a queen-size bed.
