It is strange that men are the ones who collect cars most. There’s nothing in the hobby that should stop women from collecting. Women can just as appreciate the performance and design of an automobile as men. Lisa Taylor, a Porsche collector, shows us how she challenges the male-dominated hobby of driving sports cars in a video.
Taylor’s collection is more inclined towards Porsche’s 911 offerings. She particularly likes the GT3. Taylor also loves the paint-to-order program. Her fleet includes a Mint Green 718 Cayman, and a deep purple Amethyst 911. Ruby Star paint is used on her 911 GT3RS. This color sits somewhere between pink and purple. Taylor has been a minor star on the Porsche scene and Taylor even had it featured on an event poster.
Taylor also owns a few classic 911s as well as one of the company’s tractor. An Oslo Blue 911 Carrera RS is her rally car. The car has been upgraded with air conditioning and a radio, making it more comfortable for long drives. A spot is also available for an olive-covered early 911 with rally lighting, but it doesn’t get much attention in the video.
Taylor is a Porsche enthusiast and a pet lover. She also owns Targa and Turbo Bernese Mountain Dogs. Taylor claims that her dogs even ride in her cars. It would be difficult to fit one of these 100-pound dogs into a 911, but we’d love to see her get the rest of her pack into one.
