It’s simple, stylish, and smart.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has been a popular choice for camper conversions. There are many applications we’ve seen, from an offroad-oriented motorhome through a luxurious cocoon to sleek sporty looking home on wheels. The Sprinter’s transformation today shows us another take on the German bus.
The FOMO moniker is given to it by CoPilot, which is a company well-known for their clever camper transformations. The camper van is ideal for mountain bikers, as it can transport bikes and other gear while also having enough space for three adults. Its core is a smart floor design that can hold loads of gear and tools.
The official description states that the van was designed for the ultimate gearhead. It can sleep 3 people, has a hot water heater, cassette toilet and a Dometic refrigerator.
You read that correctly – the FOMO can take a shower and it’s something that we don’t often see on a Sprinter with a standard-wheelbase. You can also enjoy a three-person bed, and all the amenities you need to have a great escape into the wilderness. Auston and Jen Wilson, CoPilot founders, designed the camper van when they wanted to create their own rig. As reports, the official “copilot”, a golden retriever named Duke needed additional sleeping space.
CoPilot offers a base conversion that includes a fixed-high bed, sofa and kitchen with stove, sink, fridge and freezer. The package is available for purchase at a cost of $35,000 and can fit on any Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram Promaster. You can also upgrade the package according to your specifications.
