The image above shows a rendering of a Corvette SUV. It incorporates many of the new design cues introduced on the 2020 Corvette. The hood is long, low and sloping, just like the car’s. The headlights flow into the front wheel arches and mimic the car’s bodyline. Even though the SUV’s front fascia is taller, it looks almost identical to the car’s.

The SUV renders few similarities to the real-world vehicle, other than the front-end styling. The roof looks very similar to the Lamborghini Urus’s because it is extended by the two additional doors. The Corvette SUV’s sloped roof gives it an athletic look. Reminiscent of the design on the car’s rear, the line that runs over the wheels at the rear is also reminiscent.

Bob Lutz, ex-GM vice chairman and industry cumudgeon, reported that GM was considering a Corvette brand. He suggested that the automaker push the Corvette upmarket. He said that Chevy could make more from a $100,000 Corvette than Cadillac, and added that a Porsche Cayenne fighter with Corvette’s name and uncompromised performance would sell well, particularly if production was limited to 20,000 to 35,000 globally.
